On March 27th 2015 louise Burns, Grant Lawrence and Lany Gay hosted their shows for the final time befor the station changed to being hostless 24 hours a day.
By the time Lana finished her show at 8pm EDST (5pm PDST) the blog post had received 5550 comments from 194 different members of the community. This means that for the 12 hours of broadcast the rate of commenting averaged at 462.5 per hour or roughly 1 every 8 seconds

I feel like I have so much left to say and so many people to thank and I wish I could hug every single person who has got in touch today.
If there's one thing I know it's that music connects people, it brings us together in homes, in venues, in hearts. It sounds cheesy, but it's true. How could you trust someone who doesn't have a favourite song?
I've been lucky to be a host at Radio 3 for almost a quarter of my life. I can't express the amount of gratitude I have to the bands, the listeners, the wonderful people that work at Radio 3 behind the scenes every day.
I am eternally grateful for all of the experiences and adventures, and especially thankful for you and the things you have taught me. I've learned that if you are lucky enough to do what you are passionate about you will try your best, you will fight a good fight, and you will find your people, your group. Whether they are in your city or on a blog or playing to 10 people in a basement bar in Thunder Bay, you will find them.
Like what no one else likes because you in your heart think it's great.
Support people who have sacrificed to share their art.
Stick up for the underdogs.
Stay curious.
Radio 3 was special, it is special and will remain - it'll just be different.
Change is inevitable and change is good.
